RUAAA BBQ GET TOGETHER

A get-together has been organised for the former students (including former students of affiliated colleges), teachers and officers of Rajshahi University living in Sydney and Canberra. If you are in Sydney and Canberra please join us for a barbecue with your family members.
We hope this will provide everyone with an opportunity to meet each other and share views,

The Inaugural Executive committee of RUAAA Formed

The Australian chapter of the Rajshahi University Alumni Association (RUAAA Inc) has advanced one step further in institutionalising itself by electing its inaugural Executive Committee (for 2011-13) in an AGM held on 25 September 2011 at the Glenfield Community Hall. The contact details of the RUAAA Executive Committee are available at http://www.ruaaa.org/wordpress/executive-committee/. The AGM has been attended by over 100 members of the RUAAA community, and has launched the RUAAA Constitution (available at http://www.ruaaa.org/wordpress/ruaaa-constitution).
                                        
The occasion marks a major milestone in the community calendar of the RU alumni members living in Australia, and indeed a celebration of the commitment and dedication of the RUAAA ad hoc Committee members who have worked diligently to turn a ‘concept’ into an RUAAA Inc reality.

The newly formed Executive Committee is very much looking forward to working with the broader community for the next couple of years.

MINUTES OF THE 3RD ADHOC COMMITTY MEETING

3rd RUAAA Meeting
Date: 26/09/2010
Minutes:
1 BBQ get tohether will be held at Chipping Norton on 7 November, 2010.
2. President discussed about the different types of membership and fees.
3. Formal committee will be formed at the next BBQ gathering.
4. President will address the BBQ gathering about the formation of RUAAA
5. Adhoc committee will provide the cost for the BBQ.
6. Mesba will check the weblink of ruaaa published in Bangla-sydney in future.
7. Zulu bhai has been elected by the RUAAA members  as vice president.
8. Poplu  and Moloy will take care of BBQ – helped by mesba, zia, tutul , Tarun and others.
9. Receit book need to be bought from News Agency.
10. Invitation letter should be published on Bangla –sydney website – Zulu Bhai.

FORTHCOMEING RUAAA ADHOC COMMITTY MEETING

The next meeting will be held on 26/09/10.
 It will be a great pleasure for Porag Bhai and Putul to have the company of you and your family members for a lunch on Sunday the 26th September in our house. Later on, around 4:0 pm we will gather together to discuss the agenda. Please feel free to add any other issue you would like to discuss.

• Spouse and offsprings of full member can apply for associate membership.

About Us

ahi University Alumni Association, Australian Chapter has been formed recently under the guidance of Professor Nurul Hossain Chowdhury, president, Rajshahi University Alumni Association, at Macquarie Fields. An adhoc committie has bee formed with Obaidur Rahman (Porag) as its president.
